A passion of dream and tradition. HENSA has been a partner of these first-class sports boats from the USA for over 40 years. How has REGAL Marine managed to be successful for so long and what are its plans for the future?
From the small bowrider to the luxury sports yacht. The American shipyard REGAL currently produces 30 different models and thus covers the entire range of motorised water sports. It is widely known for its sleek, carefully built and well-equipped sports boats. REGAL was one of the first shipyards to come up with innovative hull designs. One of the features is a striking stepped hull called the "FasTrac Hull". It is supposed to make the boat glide more easily and also require far less fuel than conventional underwater shapes for the same performance.
Another feature is the generously dimensioned bathing platforms, which increase the leisure value of the boats enormously. Water sports enthusiasts also rely on the Regal brand. The special Surf Edition specifically alters the wave behind the boat so that it turns out bigger and wakesurfers and wakeboarders get their money's worth. Unlike other wakeboard boats, the Surf Edition from Regal is very easy to manoeuvre thanks to the new Foreward Drive from Volvo.
But REGAL Werft and HENSA Lago Marina are not only similar when it comes to innovation. The third generation is also actively involved in the American family business. It seems that the values of tradition belong to Hensa and Regal like water to a boat. The Hensler family was all the more pleased to be named Regal Shipyard's largest international partner outside the USA in 2016. Regal, along with the brands Yamarin, XO Boats and Alfastreet Marine, is the most important of the HENSA Lago Marina and surprises again and again with new unique models.
