From small bowriders to luxury sports yachts, the American shipyard REGAL currently produces 30 different models, covering the entire spectrum of motorized water sports. It is widely known for its sleek, meticulously built, and well-equipped sports boats. REGAL was among the first shipyards to explore innovative hull designs. One such feature is a striking stepped hull called the "FasTrac Hull," designed to improve planing and, at the same performance, significantly reduce fuel consumption compared to conventional underwater hulls.
Another distinctive feature is the generously sized swim platforms, which greatly enhance the recreational value of the boats. Water sports enthusiasts also rely on the Regal brand. The special Surf Edition specifically modifies the wake behind the boat to create a larger wave, perfect for wakesurfers and wakeboarders. Unlike other wakeboard boats, the Regal Surf Edition is exceptionally easy to maneuver thanks to Volvo's new Forward Drive.
But the Regal shipyard and HENSA Lago Marina share more than just a passion for innovation. The third generation is also actively involved in the American family business. Tradition is as integral to both Hensa and Regal as water is to a boat – or so it seems. The Hensler family was therefore all the more delighted to be recognized as Regal's largest international partner outside the USA in 2016. Alongside the Yamarin, XO Boats, and Alfastreet Marine brands, Regal is the most important brand at HENSA Lago Marina and continues to surprise with unique new models.
